Get paid before the car leaves the lot.
Text the invoice and they pay from their phone. Tap at the counter when they are standing there. Offer to split a big job into four payments without leaving the ticket.
Twelve ways to take the money. All of them included.
Cash, check and Zelle count too. Most shop systems only count the ones that earn them a processing fee, which is why their list is shorter than this one.
The invoice goes to the phone. The money comes back the same way.
The writer closes the ticket and sends the link in one tap. They pay from wherever they are, and the ticket flips to paid on your board while you are already on the next car.
A $2,400 job stops being a $2,400 decision.
The four options below are on the estimate, not produced after the customer has already said no. Your shop is paid in full either way. The customer carries the terms, not you.
One counter reader. Fifty-nine dollars.
Most shops never buy one, because the phone in the customer's hand is already the terminal. Buy one when you want the person at the counter to tap and go.
The ticket, the deposit and QuickBooks agree.
Every payment writes to the invoice and to a ledger entry at the same time, then syncs to QuickBooks Online. Deposits, partial payments and refunds all stay attached to the repair order they came from, which is what makes month end short.
Built on Stripe.
Card numbers never touch a Pista server. Processing, PCI scope and fraud tooling sit with Stripe, which handles payments for millions of businesses. Payouts go straight to your bank on the schedule you choose.
Straight answers.
Do I need the reader to take payments?
No. Text-to-pay works on day one with no hardware at all, and it is on every plan. The counter reader is for the customer standing in front of you who wants to tap or insert a card.
What does the reader cost?
$59 each. There is no monthly fee for it and no minimum number of terminals.
Who actually processes the money?
Stripe. Your payouts come from Stripe on the schedule you set, and card data never touches a Pista server.
Is financing an extra tier?
No. Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay and Sunbit are available on every plan. The customer picks at checkout and your shop is paid in full.
Does this reach QuickBooks?
Yes. Payments post against the invoice and sync to QuickBooks Online, so the ticket, the deposit and the books agree.
Can I take a partial payment or a deposit?
Yes. Take a deposit on the estimate, collect the rest at pickup, and both show on the same invoice.
See it run on your own numbers.
